The Islands of the Caribbean lie in the beautiful clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, off the South-Eastern coast of the United States. There are the Bahamas, the Greater Antilles, the Lesser Antilles, the Western Caribbean, the Windward Islands and the Leeward Islands.
The islands derive their name from the Carib Indians, a native people believed to have come from South America. Many of the islands were later colonized by the Spanish, English, French and Dutch.
Each island has it's own beauty, charm and defender. Some offer a simple laid back atmosphere and some have hot action both day and night. But what they all offer are choices. Fantastic beaches, crystal clear water, sports, great food and shopping. Whether all-inclusive or independent, don't forget to relax!
There are a thousand islands, but for our purposes, simply put, we'll show you what we've got.
